Village of Dorchester Meeting

President Krause called the Village Meeting to order at 7:06 pm. Pledge of Allegiance stated. Roll call was taken with the following trustees present: Ingersoll, Rau, Koncel, Hunsader; Absent-Aquilera, Trustee Dunlap later arrived. Also present: Deputy Clerk Heins, Richard Hunsader, Kirk Skoog of MSA, Clement Safranek of MSA, James Jantsch, Gary Leichtman, and Kevin O’Brien of the TP.
Discussion and possible Action on Capital Improvement Plan with Kirk Skoog of MSA.
Kirk Skoog and Clement Safranek of MSA stated purpose of today’s meeting to prioritize Capital Improvements plan (plan available at Clerk’s Office for public viewing). Board to review current plant, make any needed revisions and submit to Kirk Skoog by Thursday July 29th. Mr. Skoog will make revisions and send revised plan to Village Board in time for August 3, 2011 Board Meeting.

Discussion and possible action on change order for Park Dam project manhole expansion; and tree damage from Dam project.
Manhole height needs to be re-adjusted; mud pile slide by dock caused tree damage.
No action taken.
Discussion and possible action on payment for Library Project.
President Krause stated he will check with SCP for the Village of Dorchester how Library Project bills should be paid.
No action taken.
Discussion and possible action on budget funds available for sidewalks, new projects, etc; and financial reports for the board.
President Krause stated will discuss with CPA for the Village of Dorchester which reports would be beneficial in Board Meeting packages; these reports will have more detail regarding quarterly projection on budget for determining funds available for sidewalks, new projects, etc.
No action taken.
Moved by Koncel, seconded by Dunlap to enter Closed Session per Section 19.85 (1) (e) Wis. Stats. for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the purchase of public properties, the investing of public, funds, or the conduction of the other specified public business, as long as competitive or bargaining reasons required a closed session, specifically to discuss the purchase of properly located on North Factory Street. Motion carried.
Moved by Dunlap, seconded by Hunsader to go back to Open session. Motion carried.
