Members present: Pres. Hunsader, Ingersoll, Rau and Aguilera. A motion was made by Rau, seconded by Ingersoll to approve the bills. Motion carried. Moved by Ingersoll, seconded by Aguilera to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried. Village bills-$93,751.20. Water Dept. bills-$15,844.56. Disposal Dept. bills-$17,704.73. Time adjourned 6:55 p.m.

VILLAGE OF DORCHESTER BOARD MEETING
January 5th, 2011 7:00 p.m.
President Hunsader called the Board Meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll call was taken with the following Trustees present: Aguilera, Ingersoll, Rau, Krause, Hunsader and Dunlap. Also present: Clerk Robida, Rick Golz, Jesse Rieck, Dean Faude, Gary Leichtman, Deb Koncel, Carroll Swager and Kevin O’Brien of the TP.
A motion was made by Dunlap, seconded by Hunsader to approve the Dec. 1st minutes as amended. Motion carried. Trustee Krause voted no on the siren issue.
Moved by Hunsader, seconded by Aguilera to approve the Dec. 1st audit summary report. Motion carried.
Dean presented his monthly report stating the air brakes went out on one of the plow trucks. Jesse and Dean have been going around cleaning up the streets. He also stated Jan. 14th is the deadline to set Christmas trees out on the curb.
Gary stated beginning January 1st he has another form to fill out with every traffic stop he makes. Gary also stated there are three crossings across Co. Trunk A that snowmobiles are using. At the December Board Meeting the Board was told there would be one crossing and that the snowmobiles would also be using 1st Avenue. Gary stated this is dangerous having three crossings across Co. Trunk A. Pres. Hunsader said he would talk to Al Bach.
Rick stated the inside and outside of the water tower will be cleaned the end of June.
A motion was made by Dunlap, seconded by Hunsader to approve six tax refund overpayment checks. Motion carried.
Moved by Hunsader, seconded by Ingersoll to approve Operators Licenses to: Renee Cardarelle, Emily Peissig and Amber Von Loh. Motion carried.
The Clerk informed the Board that Pres. Hunsader filed the Notification of Noncandidacy form with her.
Reminder of Caucus on Wed. Jan. 19th at 7 p.m. at the Village Hall. Offices: Village President, Trustees: Wayne Rau, Dan Krause and Karen Dunlap.
The Audit Summary Report was distributed.
Pres. Hunsader stated the Clerk looked back at 2009 expenses for the Mem. Hall which totaled $4,259.91, with an income of $5,100. Dick stated that the lanes could be screened and recoated every other year. Currently there is a $1,500.00 annual charge from Michiels Lane Refinishing.
Pres. Hunsader stated he signed the final Grant Application amendment today for the Dorchester Dam Reconstruction project. The total project that is grant eligible is $396,285. Our Grant share will be $198,142, with a contingency estimate of $39,628.
Recently the Clerk received the proposed schedule for amending Dorchester TIF Districts. This was prepared by Kirk Skoog of MSA.
Jesse Rieck brought before the Board five estimates for a new lawn mower. The Board all viewed the specs. No action was taken, because this was not on the agenda. This will be brought up at the Feb. Board Meeting.
